Our thoughts are with the communities in the West Kimberley region who have been affected by the record-breaking floods over the past week.
We are deeply connected to the Community on Bunuba Country in Fitzroy Crossing, who entrusted us with their stories for SandSong: Stories from the Great Sandy Desert. In November, we spent time with Community and hold them close in our hearts as they navigate this challenging time.
The communities across the Kimberley are in need of essential items (food, clothes, bedding, personal hygiene products, etc.) and funds to begin rebuilding homes and infrastructure. Please consider donating to the following organisations to support the relief effort.
Our regional and Indigenous communities are the cultural life source of our nation. Please give generously to aid their recovery efforts.
