- Zeak is a South Sea Islander and Yuwibara man from Mackay, Queensland.
- Biography:
Zeak began dancing at 12, training in Contemporary, Jazz, Tab and Ballet, and furthered his training at the National College of Dance, earning a Diploma in Elite Performance.
Zeak danced at Disneyland Paris and achieved his dream of performing as a dancer and featuring as a Can Can Soloist at the Moulin Rouge. After years abroad, he returned to connect with his roots, founding Contemporary Ballet Youth Company Z in North Queensland.
Through his mentorship and collaboration with Bangarra alumni Patrick Thaiday, Zeak always makes sure to reconnect with dancers in Mackay and is looking forward to meeting new dancers across the country as he joins Bangarra for their 2025 Season.
