Chantal has been involved in dance for over 25 years spending her childhood with the Glenda Yee school of dance with whom she toured Los Angeles and Hawaii in 1995.
In 2002 Chantal graduated with a Diploma in Dance from NAISDA Dance College, where she studied a wide range of styles of dance and traditional cultural studies. Performances included JAK ART Festival Indonesia; NAISDA’s 25th Anniversary; Sydney’s opening and closing ceremonies for the 2000 Olympic Games and 2001 Australian Dance Awards at the Sydney Opera House.
After completing her 3 years at NAISDA Chantal undertook an ADAPT residency with Leigh Warren and Dancers in Adelaide. Following her graduation, Chantal preformed at the Sydney Dreaming Festival, NAIDOC week celebrations, Comalco Alumina Conference in Brisbane and ANZAC day celebrations on Norfolk Island.
Chantal joined Bangarra Dance theatre in 2003 where she performed in the new works Bush on Bangarra’s successful tour of the USA, Unaipon at the Adelaide Festival, Boomerang and Clan in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and the 2005 world expo in Aichi Japan as well as regional tours of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Chantal joins Bangarra again in 2013 as a Youth Program Leader for Rekindling.
